| As unbelievably large a number as 500 characters is, the true number of all characters across the series is far greater.
Below is a list of all the characters that couldn't quite make the final cut, whether because they were too obscure, too generic, too unfeasible or just because I couldn't find room for them in the 500.
I had to make a lot of tough choices to get to the 500 I have currently, but in the end I'm relatively happy with the final roster and I feel it represents the series more than admirably.
If your favorite character is listed here you can still contribute artwork of them, and I may just change my current roster depending on how much I like the piece.
