 Terra Branford - Final Fantasy VI
The confused young woman who is one of the main protagonists of Final Fantasy VI. Born from a human and an esper, she is a unique person gifted with the natural ability to use magic. She is used by the Empire for this reason, and trained to be a weapon of terrible destruction. With the help of the Returners she is able to free herself from the Empire's grasp, although with no life experience she is unsure of what she should be doing with her life. An insecure and fragile woman, she constantly questions whether what she is doing is right, and is terribly conflicted over whether or not her powers make her an inhuman monster, incapable of basic emotions such as love. After she comes to terms with her true identity, she is able to transform into a powerful esper form at will, greatly aiding her comrades in times of need.
