 Tellah - Final Fantasy IV
The wise old sage from Kaipo who seeks the power of Meteo to avenge his daughter's death. Tellah is originally infuriated over his daughter, Anna, eloping with the spoony bard of Damcyan, Edward. After his daughter is killed in an attack from the Red Wings under Golbez's command, he vows to get his revenge on Golbez no matter the cost. Fueled by vengeance rather than justice, he is blinded by his wrath and can think of nothing else. Although he gains great power in his attempt to defeat Golbez, in the end he recklessly dies trying to exact his revenge.
