 Shadow - Final Fantasy VI
The man shrouded in black who offers his lethal blade to the player, for a price. Always accompanied by his huge dog Interceptor, Shadow is a powerful and feared assassin, but his mask hides a tortured past that he can never escape from. He was, in another time, a thief named Clyde who left his partner for dead and tried to live in peace in Thamasa, fathering a child, Relm. He could not escape the guilt and shame he feels for his past actions, though, and fled from his former life and name, becoming the ninja assassin Shadow.
