 Rinoa Heartilly - Final Fantasy VIII
The girl who leads the rebel group known as the Forest Owls, and Squall's main love interest in Final Fantasy VIII. Confident, cheerful, and a bit reckless, she sets her eyes on Squall, and never lets go, despite his best brooding. Her fierce independent streak causes her to distance herself from her father, a general in the Galbadian military, and also tends to get her in over her head in more than one situation. Squall is always there to be her knight in shining armor, though, and fights fiercely to protect her from those who would use her for their own ends. After she is possessed by the Sorceress Ultimecia, she becomes a Sorceress herself, and although she now has incredible powers at her command, she still relies on Squall for protection and emotional support, a favor she returns in kind whenever she can.
