 Dr. Odine - Final Fantasy VIII
The eccentric genius scientist from Esthar. He may be a master scientist, but he tends to act very childishly, throwing temper tantrums and starting fights with anyone who disagrees with him. An ambiguous character, he cares little for the struggles of the world at large, and confines himself to his laboratory for much of his time. The only thing he cares about in life is his research into the powers of the sorceresses, and he will eagerly join whichever side offers him the best chance to pursue his studies, whether it be the evil Sorceress Adel, or the noble Laguna.
