 Dr. Lugae - Final Fantasy IV
A suitable predecessor to Hojo, Dr. Lugae is the mad scientist who develops many of the technological weapons used by Golbez. He was the one responsible for turning Edge's parents into monsters. His most prized creation, though, is the giant golem known as Barnabas, which he thinks of almost like a son. His scientific perversions know no bounds, and he is perfectly willing to even experiment on himself, turning himself into a cyborg-like monster to defeat Cecil's group.
