 Lazard Deusericus - Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
The head of SOLDIER, and the illegitimate son of President Shinra. Despite being the head of SOLDIER, Lazard is not combat-trained himself, and rarely ventures further than his desk in his duties. Despite his lack of combat training, he is a realist who never shies away from hard work and runs his department smoothly and efficiently, and is well-respected both by his subordinates and peers. He is a stark contrast to the other department heads such as Heidegger and Scarlet. His devotion to his job is merely a ruse, however, and his real goal is revenge against his father, who he feels abandoned him and owes him for the suffering and lowly position he was born into.
