 Kefka Palazzo - Final Fantasy VI
The utterly insane aide-de-camp of Emperor Gestahl, best known for his psychotic rambling and cackling laugh. Dressed like a court jester with the personality to match, he spends the game happily committing despicable acts of betrayal, torture, genocide, and senseless destruction, always with a smile on his face. Despite the twisted joy he apparently gets from his actions, Kefka harbors a deep nihilistic streak, revelling in the meaningless of life and desiring only to reduce everything to nothing. Truly a hallmark character, Kefka is one of the series' most popular and unique villains.
