 Cloud Strife - Final Fantasy VII
The main protagonist of Final Fantasy VII. Cloud is a deeply conflicted hero who struggles with his false memories, insecurities as a hero, and guilt over his inability to protect the ones he loves. He more than makes up for his psychological shortcomings with an unrivaled spirit and powerful fighting style. Despite initial apathy at the plight of the world, Cloud grows to understand and care for the fate of the Planet and those on it, becoming its greatest champion. He vows revenge against Sephiroth for the multiple atrocities he's committed and searches the planet high and low in order to put an end not only to Sephiroth's threat to the planet, but his control over Cloud's mind.
