The classic Monk archetype from the original Final Fantasy. Black Belts excel at barefisted combat, eventually becoming one of the most powerful physical attackers, but lack defense and take a while to build up strength. The Black Belt can be upgraded to the Master Monk later in the game with the help of Bahamut.
