Better known as Balbanes, he is the proud and revered patriarch of the Beoulve family and a legendary hero from the Fifty Year's War. At the start of the game he is on his deathbed, having succumbed to a mysterious and sudden illness. Despite the differences between his sons, he loves them all equally, and would like nothing more for them all to get along after he is gone.
