 Adelbert Steiner - Final Fantasy IX
The overly chivalrous knight captain of Alexandria with years of hardened battle experience under his belt. His trust and loyaltly to the Alexandrian royal family is absolute, and even in the face of the obvious truth, he refuses to betray his queen and country. Because of his unflinching devotion and natural stubbornness, he is often at odds with the more ambiguously aligned Zidane, but they eventually put aside their differences in the face of larger threats. Steiner starts off with a very narrow-minded world view, but thanks to his travelling with Zidane his mind is expanded a great deal over the couse of the game.
