 Garnet til Alexandros XVII - Final Fantasy IX
The heir to the Alexandrian throne, travelling under the alias of Dagger throughout the game. She is high-spirited and independent, but being a princess she has little world experience and typically finds herself in over her head. She willingly lets herself be kidnapped by Zidane in order to escape from her mother, and becomes involved in a plot to save the world both from her mother and Kuja. Even faced with the obvious truth that her mother has gone insane and corrupt with power, Garnet never stops loving her, and repeatedly confirms that her mother was once a kind and caring person. Unbeknownst to her, she is one of the last suriving summoners of Madain Sari, and is capable of summoning great beasts known as Eidolons to help her in battle.
